01. Bangladesh Police is an organization providing services to the people. 02. All citizens of every police station in the country irrespective of race, religion, caste and political / social / economic class have the opportunity to get equal legal rights. 03. The service will be provided to the person who comes before the help seekers who come to the police station. 04. The police will show respect and address all the persons seeking help in the police station.
05. The duty officer will provide all possible assistance in the application of the person who has come to the police station to make a GD. Action will be taken as soon as possible regarding the stated GD and the action taken will be re-informed to the applicant.
06. The officer in charge will record the oral / written statement of the person who has come to the police station to file the case and will inform the person who has come to the police station about the number, date and section of the case and the name and title of the investigating officer. The investigating officer will maintain regular contact with the informant to inform him of the progress of the investigation and to inform him in writing of the results when the investigation is completed.
07. If the case officer in charge / duty officer of the police station expresses inability to enter the case of any person who has come to file a case at the police station, then he should apply for the remedy according to the following rules. (A) Apply to the Assistant Superintendent of Police (Circle).
(B) If he does not take action on the matter, the person shall apply to the District Superintendent of Police. (C) Then if he also does not take any action against the said person, then that person will apply to the concerned DIG.
(D) If any of them does not take any action in this regard, they will apply to the Inspector General of Police for redressal of the matter.
08. The injured victim will be provided overall assistance from the police station and the police station will collect all the medical certificates in this regard.
09. The provisions of the Children's Act, 1984 regarding child / juvenile offenders will be followed and it will be ensured that they do not come in contact with adult offenders in any way. For this, juvenile detention centers will be set up in all police stations of the country in phases.
10. Ensure overall security of female accused / victim through female police as much as possible.
11. One-stop delivery service has been introduced in some police stations. The One Stop Delivery Service Center will be introduced in all police stations in phases.
12. Victim Support Units will be set up in all the police stations of the country in phases for the overall cooperation of the injured / mentally disturbed victims.
13. All inquiries regarding passport / verification / firearms license etc. will be completed within 3 (three) days of receipt of the investigation and a report will be sent from the police station to the concerned unit.
14. If there is no legal assistance from the police station or if there is a complaint against a police member, a complaint can be lodged with the higher authority.
In that case the higher authority (A) Take effective legal action within 15 (fifteen) days of receipt of the written complaint and give it to the complainant Let me know. (B) Listen carefully to the person appearing in person, take necessary action and so on Inform the complainant.
C) Take necessary action based on the news received on the telephone. 15. The telephone numbers of the Superintendent of Police, Additional Superintendent of Police, ASP (Headquarters), the concerned circle ASP and the officer-in-charge of the police station will be displayed in public places in all the police stations.
16. Officers of all levels on duty in the district will provide assistance to all the help seekers at the scheduled time every working day. 17. Police members of the police station will maintain uninterrupted communication with the community and will introduce community oriented police service. 18. Senior police officers will hold regular crime prevention / public relations meetings with the community and seek legal solutions to social problems.
19. Candidates who want to go for employment / higher education abroad will be given police clearance certificate. 20 If any institution withdraws more money from the bank, police escort will be arranged as per the demand to take the money safely. 21.
